I’ve been alternating Yeezy models lately, so after grabbing the Yeezy 500 Blush, I had to switch it up! These Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Zebra are probably my favorite 350s to date and I’m glad they restocked!
I believe the originals of this colorway released last year with slightly darker red print on the side and some slightly darker portions of the outsole. These are super versatile because even though they have a wild pattern (hence the namesake), the shoe is still basically white, black and red. As I’ve said in the past, this is one of the easiest color combinations to make outfits with. Nearly any color denim or jogger should work here, from khaki and light wash all the way to dark blue or black. Streetwear, techwear, either look should work well. For simplicity, toss a black top on with these. One thing I would avoid is rocking another crazy pattern in the outfit, which risks crossing over into “doing way too much”.
I think Adidas and Yeezy are finding the sweet spot between making shoes easy to get if you’re paying attention, but not so easy to get that collectors don’t want them. While they don’t have quite the shine that some other kicks have right now (i.e. Off White and similar), they are still dope and these Zebras in particular are one of the more attractive pairs.
How Are The Materials?
The materials are pretty much the same as other Yeezy 350s. Primeknit upper, boost midsole! Despite the simplicity, the shoes have a premium upper that doesn’t get floppy like other knit kicks. At least, not as fast, as the shoes will hold their shape for awhile.
How Do They Fit?
The Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Zebra fit a half size up from your Adidas size. You may even want a full size up if you have wide feet. For example, I went for a 10 instead of a 9.5. These are very comfortable if you get the sizing right, as I think I can feel the Boost on these kicks more than almost any other Boost kicks.
